In my '57 GH McCullough supercharged 289 engine, I burn "Top Tier" Costco premium fuel with a lead additive and a ethanol neutralizer product.
The engine seems to like this mix........

I haven't heard of an ethanol neutralizer product. What would that be and how much does it cost?

I always have to pay 50 cents to a buck a gallon extra for the better gas without ethanol.

It is made by Sta-Bil and on the shelf at your Friendly Local Auto Parts Store (FLAPS).

Check your local NAPA....Advance...O'Reilley...Pep Boys....etc. stores. They carry multiple brands of ethanol neutralizer.
The cost is reasonable as it only takes a few ounces per tank full.......

Is this a product other than Stabil itself?

Yes. Different chemicals, just made by the same company. There are many other manufacturers. One that has been recommended to me is made by a company called Star-tron, which claims to contain an enzyme that actually attacks the ethanol molecule, instead of just binding it up with something else. I don't have enough personal experience yet to say whether it works better than others or not.

I am not in California, but I have been able to buy and it's not cheap 110 leaded gas close to me. My Avanti loves this stuff.

Thanks for the listing Corvanti - unfortunately, none of those stations are within about 200 miles of either Lou or I

Lou, I run 91 - highest normally available in Ca. There's a gas station off 680 in Sunol that has 100 at the pump. I've filled up a few times with that - wow! My R1 Avanti really likes it too!

Last year there was a local Redwood City station selling racing fuel - at $12 a gallon.
