  • Another unique Australian Studebaker item

    This attractive 'Flightomatic' emblem was fitted to the rear body panels of Australian assembled Cruiser sedans from mid 1965 onwards. I find it interesting that new parts/tooling were being added to the production of local sedans at such a late stage. There must have been confidence within the local operation that Studebaker was here to stay!

    A very interesting trim piece. I too wonder why such a piece was added that late in the game and only to Australian assembled Cruisers.
