The hardest hoses for me were the power steering hoses on the control valve. I also screwed up the left and right pressure hoses on the ram cylinder. When I started the engine the steering wheel started oscillating violently!

I'll third the power steering hoses. Spend way too many hours trying to reinstall those hoses and their fittings.

The one big hose that connects the gas tank to the gas filler was difficult to change before they reproduced the proper hose with a bend in it.

I recently changed the power steering hoses on my '62 Gt Hawk and it was difficult but not as bad as I had feared, I thought the ones on my '63 Lark were worse, maybe that was because I had never done it before. I concur with the OP that the fuel filler hose is tough. I changed the one on our '52 Commander and while I had the proper curved hose I still spilled a bit of blood changing it.

The vacuum gauge hose in an Avanti is fun. So is the fuel tank vent hose!

I'd go with the PS hoses. The fuel line hoses at the fuel pump on my former '81 Avanti came to mind after seeing Brad's comment.

Ron, I can't wait to hear YOUR answer, but I'm guessing it has something to do with power steering!

One: Avanti gas tank vent hose between right inner and outer 1/4 put in before the 1/4 was installed.
Two: Bendix power steering control valve left and right turn hoses.

I'm fairly certain, the most difficult hose for me...will be the NEXT one.
