I think the frame for the business coupe is the same for '41-'42 & '46. Getting close to putting the coupe body onto the frame, which has been modified a bit from the original. I now have four body bushing locations on each side, one at the cowl, one mid-door, one just rear of the door, and then one at the rear corner of the trunk. To me, there seems to be too long of an unsupported area between the trunk bushing and the bushing rear of the door.
Looking at my Stude books, I am unable to tell if there were additional bushings located between those two bushings. Looking at the inside of the body, there are four long oval openings, located over the frame where it humps over the rearend. Doe
s anyone know if here was some webbing between the body and frame, on the hump which goes over the rearend housing?? I think additional support is needed in this area. Any information will be welcome.
