  • Your help needed for restoration of The Studebaker Electric Fountain

On July 1,1906 John Studebaker dedicated the Electric Fountain in South Bend and said it would out live the wonders of Egypt only to be dismantled, lost and now found again. We are trying to restore his gift and return it to it's original home in Howard Park and are starting a petition to try to make this possible. If you would like to support this please sign the petition. Thanks https://www.ipetitions.com/petition/...to-howard-park

I thought I had seen some recent pictures of some of the figures having already been restored and awaiting assembly. Was I dreaming?
Perhaps a Gofundme appeal might be even more encouraging than a petition.

Sweet dreams. Nothing done yet but have had two restoration companies look at it. One has given an estimate and the other will be sent out in January. Really need some people on the petition to present to the City Administration and Park Department. Thanks as always. Tim

Come on people. We need you to take a minute to sign the petition. Only about 6 members signed so far. Doesn't history and a memorial to the family your car's named after mean anything. Thanks to you who did sign.

Your donation does NOT go to the fountain fund.

Thanks Guys, all money collected goes to the restoration of the Fountain as all people are working on a voluntary basis. We're getting there. Tim
