  • Looking for a wagon.

I am new to this forum thing but I am in search of a 60 or 61 lark 4 door wagon. Would prefer a v8 car that is in decent shape and drives well. Anybody know of any. Thanks Luke.

    Luke,

In your search patience is a real virtue, you will find one, but you may have to travel to get it. Out West is where these cars survived. In the eastern part of the country these were throw away cars. I think that you will know the right car when it shows up. Just don't settle for less then the right one! I found mine eight years ago and I wasn't even looking for one, but when I saw it I knew immediately that it was coming home with me!-Bill

You're 7 months too late, I sold mine last Christmas. Sorry.

So Luke, does that mean NO '62 Lark Wagons or '63 to '66 Wagons or Wagonaires? They show up more often and we could watch for one of those for you.

I have a '61 4 door regal. It's a six, but it runs quite nicely. PM me if you are interested.

By far the 61 and 62's are the rarest of the Lark wagon's. There are plenty out there, many of which are junk....just take your time and don't get frustrated in the search process. Best of luck.

A friend of mine has a 63 with a 289 and T5 5 speed for sale in the Seattle area.

Thanks for all the responses. I am not dead set on anything, but if I had to pick it would be a 61. I am hoping to pull a 16 foot camper which is a 1961 pathfinder, that is why I would prefer a v8 car.

Yes Bob you did. I started a complete restoration on that car prior to having children. I still have it and hope to finish it one day, but in the meantime I hope to have one to drive to enjoy with my family.

I don't think you want to pull a camper with my 6 cylinder Lark.

I will try to get pathfinder pics up, if I can figure out how to do so.
