    Can anybody tell me what series drive shaft u-joint is used on the Sky Hawk drive shaft? The output shaft on the TH200-4R I'm putting behind my 289 uses a 1310 series u-joint...

    Since the driveshaft will probably need adjusting for length just have them match the 1310 in the modified shaft's trans end.

      It would appear that I could use a longer (available) 200-4R (1310) output yoke, and not need to have a custom drive shaft made...thus my inquirey

        They used a 1310. Spicer has a number of adapter u-joints on one of my cars I used the 1310-1350 on each end and they are no more expensive than the stock 1310's.

          ALAN - That's what I needed to know. If the joint in my Hawk is a 1310, and the extended output shaft I'm going to use is a 1310, then I'm in business...no expensive drive shaft work...

            UPDATE - Once I replaced the U-Joints, Carrier Bearing Mount Bushings, etc., and measured everything up I had the front drive shaft shortened 2 3/4". Went together like Factory...
