    Fly 'em high!

I had to source the Flag Etiquette website this morning to verify that the Union (blue portion) is to be displayed to the observer's left when the flag is displayed vertically.

Purists will note that the position of the dealer-installed front bumper guards has been "corrected" since the photos were taken that appear in the June 2016 Turning Wheels.

    Anybody else? BP

We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

    G. K. Chesterton: This triangle of truisms, of father, mother, and child, cannot be destroyed; it can only destroy those civilizations which disregard it.

Thanks, Bob. A good reminder to all.

My father would have turned 97 today. His name was Donald, and there is another Donald having his 70th today.

Bob, my little red white and blue stars and stripes car isn't a Studebaker (it probably wanted to be), and I didn't drive it YET today, but we did go down to the Lanihau and Keauhou Shopping centers early this morning and put out flags for Flag Day with our Lions Club !

due to health issues, i haven't got much of my new, larger mancave walls decorated yet. my first priority was getting my tools, equipment, etc. in place.
