When 2016 dawned, I thought I was finally ready to pony up some bucks for a nice, nice Stude to replace the '60 Lark VIII I foolishly sold three years ago. Both kids nearly finished with college. I had just moved into--for the first time--into managerial ranks. Ya, I was ready. I was hankering after Tim's nice '57 in Illinois. Then wifey got laid off and sonny boy had unexpected medical problems that lead to several hospitalizations. Sigh. For now, I have to be content to spotting prospects for those with fatter wallets. Here ya go!
First up is one that is perhaps a member's car? '65 Cruiser in KC for $4,900:
Next is a '63 Hawk in Ohio that has had floor and rocker work, and is going for $7,900:
'48 Champion in PA that looks clean for $6,500:
Alright, figure this one out...Nigerian scam? Majorly hidden tinworm? Or helluva bargain? Philly GT Hawk for $2895:
Sharp looking '58 Scottie in Delaware that may have had body off for painting, $5,500:
No overdrive
