In 1964 there were no Daytona two door sedans. They were built on the Commander and Challenger only.

So Lou, was it a Challenger or Commander 2 Door Sedan or a Daytona 2 door Hardtop?

But there was a 2dr "Special" built in Hamilton that had the Daytona interior . Maybe this was one of those?

You are correct Bob. The model was called Commander Special.

That was still a Commander model in name and external appearance.

Correct. But since the listing has disappeared I can't tell what it looked like.

...maybe it was a 65 mislabeled?

I did always wanted to "Build" a '64 Daytona 2 Dr. just because I could.
Also add the '65 Sports Sedan Mouldings and White Painted Roof or Vinyl Roof to a Blue (of course) 2 Door or a Hardtop. Both would be easy Bolt-on" stuff.

But the truth is, a '63 Regal or Custom 2 door would be more impressive with that Daytona tapered "Sphere" down the side!

It is a just an ordinary stock 1965 Daytona Sports Sedan, the Bodyside Mouldings, Decklid and Rear Panel Mouldings give it away as a Canadian '65.

I wish him a lot of luck with that $7800.00 asking price!

It never ceases to amaze me how people expect a buyer to spend real Money on something like this with a fuzzy, rainy day, distant Cellphone Picture of nothing important.
Buying from a distance requires way more than a Poor Pic and a poor description to actually SELL it.

Not even a recognizable State and City Location: (rohnert pk / cotati) Advertised in SF Bay Area, does not mean that is where it is, that sounds like somewhere in New York!

Well they do exist. About 50 miles north of San Francisco isn't... quite New York. Agree about the pictures. Why do some people only seem to take them in the rain???
