Sorry, it's a guy "selling" a dark green '50 Commander Starlight. Same one on there many times, each time with a different highjacked e-mail address and Ebay name, telling you "don't bid before you e-mail me." I think this guy is in Yugoslavia or Lower Slobovia or somewhere like that. It is obvious that it is the same guy because of his identical form of listing. He has also listed a red '50 Champion convertible and others. When you e-mail him, he says he will pay shipping on the car, just send him the money...

Folks it is always good to know there are people out there watching out for those who are not as well versed as we are. Those who post and otherwise participate in this group are the best. Thanks to all of you for the effort you put forth to keep the Studebaker foremost in our mind in the minds of the general public. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!! I hope Santa fills your stocking with gifts of Studebaker parts you need.

See you in the future as I write about our past

I have seen many of this type of listing on eBay, but I just came across one on Craig's List. It was a listing on the Hudson Valley, NY list for a Saab wagon. I e-mailed some questions, including location, through CraigsList. I got a direct e-mail reply including that the car was in Palm Beach, FL and that I should send money to an eBay service and that he would ship the car to me within three days. That was the end of that for me.
