  • I am looking for a nicer instrument bezel emblem.

The part number is 536635. Most of the color has been worn off mine. I may be able to touch it up with a very small paint brush and model car paint. I just thought someone may have one that is nicer.

    Thank you,
    Charlie D.

No offence but, I think you better find a very small Paint brush and get to work on your's.

You are VERY fortunate to have a restorable one.

These are WAY too Rare to use up 2 of them, as far as I know there no New ones.

      StudeRich,

I just got through doing some research on painting tiny parts. It appears that toothpicks are used quite a bit. I will try to add a little color to this one.

      Thank you,
      Charlie D.

I have painted an emblem for my 1950 Commander hood using a super fine modeler's brush, Testers model paint and a folded rag to help steady my hand it it came out pretty good.

That came out very nicely. A shot of clear gloss will keep the brass shiny.

I painted some of the fine details on my 52 using a toothpick. It provides more control than a brush in places where a stray bristle will make a mess.
