  • Introducing Henry Hawk (Restoration Complete)

After 5 year restoration the car is done. Unfortunately it has a sick engine, so it will be pulled soon. Thought I would get a few photos before I have to take it back apart.

Great looking car! The color is perfect. What kind of wheels do you have on it?

What a shame about the engine, great color and it will be worth it when you're done... in fact, you just go looking for stuff after the withdrawal symptoms set it!

Wayne, will you be bringing Henry (or vice versa) to the Roundup?

Sweet, great job! Is Henry single? My Henrietta Hawk is looking for an older gentleman with lots of class.......

Thanks for all the positive feedback. When Dad and I started this venture I didn't really think a bunch of amateurs working in the garage could make it as nice as it turned out.

Mike, sorry to say that I won't be at the round-up. I had been pushing Rene at Southeast Studebaker to finish up the seats so I could go, but the test drive changed those plans in just a few miles. Rocky Mount is only about 40 minutes away, but I don't think Henry could survive the trip and even if he did I would just be causing more damage to the internals.

                              63 R2 Hawk,
I am sure Henry would love to meet Henrietta, but we better get his ticker fixed first. He might not be able to take the excitement in his current condition.
