  • signature pics?

[)]I know full well that this has been addressed here before, but could someone give me a quick lesson in how to get the cute little signature pictures on the forum postings? I know how to post pictures here otherwise, but can't for the life of me figure out the signature shots. Feel free to address me off the forum at arkiejazz@aol.com [)]

    Steve,

Go to your profile and add the URL to the signature area. As with any picture, you will need to put it in the img brackets. Be sure to preview it to see if it needs to be re-sized. Personally I have all of my signature pictures on Webshots as the thumbnail pictures are just the right size.

[)]Ok, I sort of got the hang of it, but is there a simple way to create thumbnails? As you can see by the one I ended up with here, the quality of the one I made is poor...to say the least.[)]

Steve, you need to pull up the pic in your picture program and modify it! I always save it and make a copy & name it #2, so I don't lose the original if I screw up. Then go to crop, and cut out the background, then save it. Then you can upload that one to your website and send it to this site. That way we'll see the truck and not the stuff!! [:0]

I just did that with Anne's '55 Pres on the "Introducing the Prez" string, and it worked for this ole dinosaur, ...me! [^]
