What brand do you want? Stick a stock Mopar 440 Magnum in it and you will have 375 hp. and it doesn't weigh much more than a 232. NT

            Greetings, Nick,

            1. Help us by defining your terms: From what engine do you expect to get 300hp?
            OEM '51 232" - it isn't really achievable without a turbocharger.
'64 R2, no problemo, as long as the bucks are no problemo.
Normally aspirated, street-driveable 259", not gonna happen.

            2. Where are you located? Here in Spokane, WA we can do the deed for you, but shipping is a factor. Horsepower close to home is often a better bargain, IF the builder is a Studebaker expert.

            thnx, jack vines
