Looks very nice "is it the angle or lighting" looks like the pattern direction changes on the two ends compared to the main portion.

I installed the ends at a bias for visual interest. It looked better than straight all across.
I also have done them in wood before too.52233

This is also really nice,but I'm leaning towards the Carbon Fiber - how about some pics when the Dash is back in the car :!:

There's not a single part on that car that's seen 89k miles! man the Carbon looks as good as we thought it would. I'm getting really excited.

It does look nice, if a bit utilitarian, more a business-like feeling to it. The burl adds elegance to the interior. However on the track would be somewhat out of place. Looks good, job well done.
