    Add a box where the trunk is and you would have a modern day crew cab 4X4.

      I was VERY close to doing this to my 59 Lark VIII 2DHTP back in 1981. I had bought a 1960 Chevy K1500 frame and wanted a 4x4. That was during the era when this was the "cool" mod.

      I'm glad (now) my father talked me out of it. I ended up building a 69 Chevy 4x4 out of the frame and it was MUCH more useful that way. Also, I get to drive my Stude now, as an old guy.......

        Jim, I believe a proper name for that car would be a 'Studebaker Outback'.
