Thank-you for sharing Richard. Always enjoy your posts. I would think that the presentation of a watch we be appropreiate for retirement or 50 years of service, but am a bit surprised that it would be presented for 49 years - just another mystery regarding this watch. Again thanks for sharing.

Ah... the days when a company valued the loyalty of such an employee are gone. The business community now looks derisively on such a person. What a beautiful watch. I love carrying a pocket-watch. This one doesn't look like Mr. Kwilinski ever carried it. Interesting though that Studebaker would give him an Elgin when the company made their own.
