    Was that a Commander six? I don't know enough about them to tell the difference between a Champion and a Commander. Sounds healthy.

          Oh, that one. Heard they had some transmission problems and had to scrub the mission somewhere in Mongolia. Hope they try again?

                The one with trans problems was a 40 President (straight 8). They called me looking for a trans while stranded. I had one but they abandoned those plans. Maybe the car associated with this engine was a Peking to Paris car also. By the way what a great sound this one makes.
