Prominent business owners of South Bend sponsored a week of activities focusing on supporting local business and promoting civic pride. It was called "Partners In Progress Week." The seven days of activities culminated on September 15, 1963 with a big parade witnessed by 115,000 local residents. It also served to introduce the new line of 1964 Studebaker vehicles as shown in this image. One of a few dozen photos of the event I have.

Thanks, Dick.
Unbelievable in that at least two of the convertibles (front center and outside 2nd row) appear to have dog-dish hub caps! I can't remember ever seeing a factory photo of a 1964 Daytona convertible without the attractive new 1964 full wheel covers.
Interesting....and I'm sure that some wag will sooner or later point out that they are going the wrong way. Ominous. BPWe've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.
