  • Starter Bolts?

I'm finally at the point of reassembly on my 53 Starliner and am getting together all the parts I've scattered and stuck in various places. I can't find the bolts that hold the starter on. My engine is a 289 with a truck manual transmission bell housing. Does anyone have a set or could point me to a source? Thanks,

The Truck Clutch Housing requires special extra long starter bolts, same diameter as the car and also with a long "shoulder". The Truck housing also will require custom made engine mount brackets to install in a car.

Rich, I assumed so much on the brackets, Do you have any of these bolts? The thickness of the bellhousing where the bolts go through is 3" and 1 1/2" approx. Thanks all,

Sorry no stock, they are very hard to find. You will have to make them from a longer bolt to get the long shoulder, and cut them to size.
