        Looks like Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor used it for practice before crushing his Chevy Nomad.

                Hey, that Hawk must have that extra heavy-duty latch!

                The least we can do is hope that the Battery hold down was in place, so that maybe the battery didn't fly over the roof as well.

                  The least we can do is hope that the Battery hold down was in place, so that maybe the battery didn't fly over the roof as well.

                            How many Forum members have actually been in a C/K Studebaker at speed when the hood flew up? (Yes, I have - a 1963 GT, in 1963, at well over 100 MPH.)
