  • After 4 years finally!! lots of pictures 54 Coupe

After four years finally. Check out the pictures of the 54 coupe put together and photos of the base coat and clear on the body. I also need help in locating a drivers side front fender and feedback would be great.

    Thanks, and enjoy

Very nice! Very Nice! If only the factory had used that much care in building it the first time.

Thanks for all of the replys, I am trying to do it right, and in doing so I really need a drivers front fender. If anyone has any leads on one I would appreciate it.

                Triple WOW! Fantastic work!

I'm curious about the way you primed the inside roof. It doesn't look like you painted either color there. To me it looks like bare metal still, why is that? Spray on insulation later?

                Thanks,

Thanks for all of the positive feedback. The plan on the inside roof and floor is the installation of a noise cancelling heat activated rubber pad. They will be installed on the entire floor area and the entire roof area. There will be some light sanding and primer applied to the roof area before they are installed.

                  Thanks

                    Domenic,

I have been admiring your photos. I too have a 1954 Starlight project car. I believe we may have the same color combination.

                    Is the project completed?

Great job! An old timer who had offered to tutor me on the use of lead passed away quite awhile ago. A almost lost art today.

I have a great admiration for those who have the wherewithal to confront and complete a project of this magnitude. I know my limitations and therefore am amazed at the work even now finished on your car and marvel at the level of what is yet to come. This is why my car, below, has never been disassembled. I knew it might never get put back together. Congratulations on what looks like a fabulous build.
And ditto on the "shop". WOW.
