Paint Day, Finally!

After 5 or so years of work, I finally got to paint the body today.

Color is actually a fairly modern Chrysler color called cinnamon mist metallic. The fin stripe is Cadillac diamond white pearl. I wanted something that looked period correct but was still readily available.

Thanks for the compliments. It turned out pretty good for a home shop paint booth. Got a few pieces of trash to deal with and a couple runs, but they should all be easy to repair and buff out.

Wdills The old guy that I started out doing body work & paint for always said if you don't hang a run now and then your not trying. I hope he's glad to know I try a lot. Car looks great.
