Carburetor Newer style

Has anyone had experience putting a newer version of the rbs on an ohv6 and did it work well?

All I know is, every one who has gone back to the OLD '62 ABS Carter 1 Brl. is WAY happier than they were with the disposable RBS Carb.![:0]

Would the newer RBS's be AMC/Rambler units?

I'd heard the rbs units used on the early 70s fords work. Not sure if that is accurate or not. Will have to do either or.. all three rbs that i have need to be rebuilt and knowing how these are, probably best to change now.
