  • Let's see your Studebakers and fall colors

I thought it might be interesting to see some Studebakers surrounded by fall colors. Again this year, I parked my 52 in front of a red maple in our yard and snapped a few pictures. It is hard to get a good clear shot because of the junk in our neighbors yard, but I got a few. This year you won't see a bent bumper.

My 1904 buggy in the blue blood neighborhood of Windsor Farms in Richmond. This was part of the photoshoot that resulted in a TW cover.

I recently photographed these (on October 11) and sent them to the editor of Turning Wheels in hopes of getting the coveted front cover photo. Fingers crossed!

That's a very nice looking buggy. I've always wished I lived on a farm or ranch with horses, so I could travel by buggy and ride horseback. Last summer I did get a chance to ride a stagecoach, and that was an experience I'll never forget. It was so smooth and enjoyable that I'd like to go cross country by stagecoach.

Not from this year, although these same blueberries are really a nice red right now.
