        The first car I remember that my dad owned was a '39 Commander in maroon. I was born in '37 and was brought home in that car. What I do remember most about that car was how quiet is was down the road and how comfortable the seats were. He kept that car until 1950 when he bought a Nash Ambassador. I was 13 then.
        As an aside, I took my driver's test in that Nash and passed the first try.
