Did some Larks come with power assist and dual master cylinders? If so is it a straightforward conversion? Sources?

Yes they did. You could order power brakes with disc ( single MC) or power brakes non-disc with a dual MC. Both systems used a MasterVac booster. The disc brake style was the same as the Avanti booster but the dual NON disc style was shorter and more compact. AMC used similar units during those years as well. PM me if you need pics.
