Tag on my axle : 43-13. 3.31. So it has 3.31 ratio. Spicer 27 or 44?

Dana 44 and on your car more than likely a twin trac.

Look for a second tag on the cover.

I see the twin traction tag and also a tag 45B.

Look for a "44" cast into the housing at bottom right of the center,looking at it from rear.

It would be a serious Mistake if a Dana 27 destined for a 6 Cly. or a 259 ended up in an R2 289 Hawk!

Also it would have be recently installed, because it would not last much more than a week!
