  • Packard hawk trunk spinner

A friend of mine has this, and wants to know the value of it. This is number that is on the back of it # 535283. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.

Probably the best place to determine its value is in an e-bay auction.

Well, if it were mine I'd ask $100 for it....and a ride in the Packard Hawk when it's finished!

(Doing something like this is how I got a ride in the #37 1932 Studebaker Indy race car!)

100 to 150 sounds reasonable. if it were NOS perfect, then closer to 225.

perfect NOS or high quality restored would bring twice that price!
This item is a good core for plating & worth about what you state

I don't think it's from a PH. The part number for the PH is 1327176.

Yes, I was wondering if it might be the optional '53-'55 full wheelcover spinner myself.

It looks like the 1954-1955 Sportster item to me, as well (not correct for a 1953). They were $3.00 each retail ($1.85 dealer). They were AC-2497 (I don't have a part number or casting number).

Here are some more pictures. The numbers on the in side is 535283 but in front of them is the letter D and the letter C. But they look like they are setting in a big H. The four places on back of the spinner are all threaded. Thanks. Dusty

Our Packard Hawk spinner was very similar. The only difference being one larger stud for the mounting, instead of the outer smaller ones.

Thanks for all the help. I want to be sure if is for hubcap or a Packard hawk. I do not like to sell stuff that will not work. Dusty

Mine does not have the gold center but here are a few pics. Looks the same to me. I have not seen the underside of it in 14 years so I have no clue of the mounting holes. (If these are upside down, um maybe turn your monitor over)
