The centering "Nub", Hub Center is twice as Long on an Avanti.

BOTH the Avanti AND the H.D. for A/C and Supercharged Lark/Hawk, have three gussets reinforcing the Bearing Housing portion of the Pump.

The H.D. has a Standard V8 short Hub "Nose".

My 1957 Packard water pump looks to be the same as a 1962 Hawk 289 water pump. Only two I have to compare.

Rich, this info some how has Me confused . the pump I have has no webs "3" on the housing, but does have the "about 1/2" nub facing the radiator side.in other words the surface that mates the pulley is off set all the way to one end of the hub.the standard duty that came off the engine has the pulley surface about centered on the hub.maybe I need to find out what for spacers are available from SI,inhopes of maybe leaving this pump on and not back tracking again ?
