Anne and her husband sadly had to leave Thursday around 10.00AM in order to get home, before she did she gave her hat to my wife Elizabeth as they became friends during the meet.Anne is quite a gal and we will return the gesture at some point.

The car looks like the twin of the R2 powered Lark I sold a year or two back.

That Lark was parked right next to my 63 Daytona conv. during the concours JDP, guess I could have gotten the serial if I would have known it had been yours, but then again you buy and sell and probably don't get too attached to them.It does not belong to Anne however.

My wife tells me the guy that owns the hardtop R-2 apparently also owns the 63 light blue metallic 63 Daytona conv.that was parked behind it. The guy related that he wanted the hardtop judged to get an idea of what it needed, this was not a good meet to get that done as the judging was disappointing, they picked things apart too much and took until 5PM to finish the Larks. Our 63 Daytona Conv.that has always scored in the mid 390's only managed a disappointing 372 score. I was not alone in my assesment of the judging. One individual that shall remain nameless was docked 10 points for a waterspot on his exhaust. Many others were very upset with it also. I'm sure more comments will surface in the coming days as everyone gets home.
