  • Stude 4x4 headed west

Saw a pair of Stude trucks including a 4X4 flatbed on a carrier crossing NM today as we traveled. The 4x4 was rusty but looked complete. The other truck was a cab and frame, didnt seem to have much else attached but several crates tied down on both trucks. It is probably one that was linked here a month or so back that went way out of my budget but neat to see it. Other Stude sightings include a Lark in south Ok, several Studes around Gallop NM in a field beside the interstate and more just past those at an exit we came off at. At leaST 3 trucks in that lot and a nice 2 tone I assume was custom at a truck stop/casino in Tx. Might have a lead on a solid truck body, waiting to hear. Steve

Was it a red flatbed? If so, I suspect it was the former Tutwiler truck that sold on e-Bay several weeks ago (Item Number 171835010719). Supposedly came with all the parts needed to restore it.

Might have been red originally. More orange now. I suspect it was the e-bay truck. Steve
