Nice looking 65 Daytona on ebay. Anyone know the car or owner? I tried to put a link to the auction but couldn't figure out how to do it.

Is this the car?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Studebaker-DAYTONA-SPORTS-COUPE-/261979520101?forcerrptr=true&hash=item3cff323c65&item=261979520101

To make a link you just LEFT CLICK on the address bar when viewing the item, and it will be highlighted in blue. Then RICHT CLICK on COPY and come back here to type your message. Then with the cursor in the message box you RIGHT CLICK and PASTE and the link will be in the message.

For the person here a week or so ago, who posted about considering a driver for daily commute to work, this car would fit the bill nicely. I had one of these, back in the 1980s, and it was second to none, as a classy driver.

Looks to be a very nice car! Not nit-picking but, has wrong tires on it (white wall size) and there's no belt on the A/C compressor. Easy fixes, Other than that...go for it!:!:

Anyone know where this car is located?

Forget it, I just discovered in small print that it's in Rockford IL.

Notice the AM/FM radio and different center console.

What a cream puff. That would make an excellent daily commuter, in the nice weather.

This Daytona Sports Sedan looks very good, but could be improved a Lot if you could get rid of that '66 Body Side Moulding and those way wrong Tires.

Only, "improvement" that car needs is me behind the wheel :)

Stu, I would guess the band Cheap Trick were centred in Rockford, Il. Didn't American Pickers to a segment on Cheap Trick guitars and road cases?

Thanks Dave. I guess I'm too old to appreciate those musicians. Sorry, I'm not aware of those guitars and must have missed that American Pickers segment.
