Joe has a T98 4 speed that he removed from his Transtar when we changed to the T5. The trans is in good working order, but the 5 speed made it nicer on the highway. Is it worth hauling to St. Louis to the swap meet?

If I owned a early truck with a T9 crashbox, I'd pay your price for a T98.
However, I've been tripping over a perfect '55 V8 T98 which has been sitting in my garage for years now. If you're selling it, make sure the bell housing comes with it. Again, they're not hard to find; I've got three, but they're expensive to ship.
