(I wonder what kind of cars he was selling when he got a Packer franchise in 1950; sounds football-oriented to me, per the story.

I made mention of that in my response when Jeff Rice posted this back on July 2nd. When I was in college I owned a 1962 Willys 4 WD wagon so I had a bit of knowledge on the subject.
