  • Distributor for '50 Champ

    Sirs,

It looks like I will need to install a new distributor but finding one is becoming a problem. The shop manual calls for an Autolite IAT4001 but I can't find one. There is no sign of a viable substitution. There must be suitable replacement for it somewhere. Can anyhone help? Please.

I'll check through my stuff tomorrow, just bought a bunch of stuff that had some Champion distributors in with it.

        You might look here:

If you don't mind dealing with a French speaking Canadian. He seems to have a pretty good grasp of English, enough to deal with anyway.

The one I have is a IAT 4010 fits 51 & 52 Champion, it is used but appears to be in good condition. $20.00 plus $8.00 shipping and it could be yours
