The first post WWII Studebaker was the 1946 Skyway Champion and it had no such number. The first '47 Commander was serial 4232501 so wrong on all counts.

So could it be Body #001? Which of course is NOT the first 1947 Commander Car Serial Number. :(

Well we do know it is a: "deluxe reagel sudan" !! :lol: Maybe the Sudanese know what a rea-gel is? :confused:

The single and double-digit body tags I have seen have been just that - a single or double digit. There's no zeros ahead of those digits.

Is that an Optical Delusion :ohmy: or did that one get stamped Backwards? Aren't they supposed to be Raised not indented?
