  • Brakes: Will these drums fit?

Looking over a couple catalogs, ran across these drums

On the Speedway site, the specs are...
    5 on 4.5-Inch bolt circle
    Axle center pilot hole 2.78"
    Wall thickness at hub -.125"
Backspacing from outer edge, to hub area - 3.575"
    Made in USA

The backspacing is my concern. Anyone know if they'd fit?

These are 11 Inch X 2 1/4 Inch according to his Ad, our finned Rear Drums for Disc Brake Cars are 11"X 2 1/2" lining surface.

Some unknowing individuals may be measuring the outside of the drum to inside to get the depth so I don't know which they used.

The Labyrinth seal area that mates to the backing plate with running clearance, is critical on all Drums and that is where they would hit before seating on the Axle if incorrect.

Not sure, but it looks like they may be a no fit Bob.

I have a set of real nice drums off my '59 Silver Hawk. They're pretty big and finned. I have the whole front end and don't know what to do with it. I'll sell parts for a bargain because of shipping!!!
