Did anyone notice the 37 Ford pickup powered by a Studebaker 289 with a 332 Cadillac intake on page 144 of the December Goodguy Gazette. It was at the Puyallup,WA event. The Southwest Nationals are in Scottsdale, AZ this weekend. I will be there Saturday and Sunday with the 64 Daytona convertible. Anyone else planning to be there?

Wouldn't your modified '53 Starliner fit in better at a GoodGuys event than your stock '64 convertible?

Bone stock cars are becoming more and more prevalent at Goodguys and NSRA shows all over the country. Been there did that with Studebakers. Both great organizations with outstanding monthly magazines usually with several Studebakers featured in photos.

Looks like a real neat truck. Love the grenade shift ball. I have taken the 53 to this event four times so I decided to take a different car this year.

Huge crowd at Goodguys today. I understand they cut off entries at 2600 cars as the field was full. More Studebakers this year than I have seen in the past. Weather was outstanding.

If you want to show off your Stude. and see others then the Goodguy's
shows are the place to be because they have many many large shows all over the country. One can fly to these shows also and stroll through 1,000's and acres of cars. This is a very active super large car club.

Yes I did see the green cabover. He has been here before. Crowd was smaller today but still a bunch of cars. Saw several Studebakers that I missed yesterday. It is just impossible to see them all in a day.

talk about a lot of cars , try the Streetrod Nationals in Louisville ,Ky. sometime. they have between 11,000 to 13,000 entries 1948 and older. runs a 4 day weekend on first part of August. No way you can see them all and the vendors and swapmeet is awesome and their is a large Womens World to keep the ladies busy. I try to get to Goodguys in Columbus, but even thou a great show including later models, it usually pulls in about 3000 entries.

He had the pickup at Paso Robles show two years ago. I think he drove it there! According to a different magazine write-up on this truck, the engine came from his father's '62 Hawk.
