Here's a photo of my 10 month old puppy, Belle. She loves to jump into my Studebaker whenever I open the door. Back in April when I was spending a lot of time rewiring, she was in there chewing on the old carpet, which leads to the 2nd photo of the new carpet from Phantom. They said it's the closest they could find to the original type and I'm very happy with it. And no, she doesn't chew on the new carpet. I guess it lacks the flavor of a 55 year old rug.

Terry,
Where'd you hide your speakers?

I bought a 6X9 dual voice coil woofer, 2 tweeters speaker from a Corvette shop and put it in place of the original. I also used a 6 to 12 volt converter. I disconnected the power to the original non-radio and rewired the bulbs in it so it still looks like it's working. The biggest hassle with the modern radio is the lack of 12V for memory so every time I turn the car off, the radio forgets its station or song the CD was playing. There is a unit available for the memory but I haven't purchased it yet. The speaker sounds OK but good enough. I think headphones are illegal here in Wisconsin and I did get a ticket in MN for wearing them when I was driving my Lark there a few years ago. $125!
