    Doing the normal weekend surfing and came across this on the Cincinnati CL - not mine so know nothing other than what is posted.











    Claims to be original, but wondering why the VIN plate is screwed on...

        Yeah, as a matter of fact I am about to have an empty bay... but, been there, done that. I had an R2 SuperHawk optioned identically to one of Granatelli's B'ville cars but for the color. I'm too old to move backwards!

          Sounds like a good reason to build an R3 Hawk test mule that Studebaker never got around to rolling out of the engineering department...
