    This looked like it really hurt!



    Based on the photo date and the side trim, was that a new ferd on the right? Looks as though more than one noggin doinked the windshield in this mishap! When you think about it, those of us old enough to remember the years before popular seatbelt use wonder how we made it to adulthood! Just glad my folks were good drivers.

        That fender miiight have a little problem with it. Are the headlights supposed to pointing at each other?

            Reminds me of when I was a little kid and my mom borrowed my dad's pickup truck for some reason... was an automatic with a real wide brake pedal, she pulled away from a stop and then by reflex tried to shift into second (all our cars were stickshifts, after my dad got rid of his Cutlass) after I picked myself out of the fetal position in the footwell, I always wore my seatbelt after that

                            I'm going to buck the trend and say that's a 56 Ford. The windshield doesn't have a slant like the 57s and that's not a 57 wheelcover, it's a 56.
