    I just posted on the '60 Lark registry thread. As I was gathering information I checked my insurance paperwork and noticed the "S" in the serial number is written as a "5". I'm sure this is quite common, as is the confusion between the number "1" and the "I" in Studebaker numbers. It is easy to check and get corrected. It might save a phone call if there is a claim.

    Got a letter from the state a few years back saying how my 70 Charger wasn't insured anymore. Sure enough my insurance company changed the VIN number somehow (it was right for years before) and messed it all up. Sometimes it's good to know VIN numbers by heart. That was my clue to start looking for new insurance.
