    What do the stars next to some forum members' names indicate? I have seen like 5 blue and 3 red, for example.

    Number of posts. Five blue stars=Commander member(over 1000 posts), four blue stars=Golden Hawk member(over 500 posts), etc. You can click on the "Members" subject line in the top right of this page for a graphic display list. When Bob Shaw set up the Forum, he had the option of selecting five levels of participation. We ran out of stars for Mr. Biggs.
