  • Other: proper jack position for 58 President

I hope 3rd times a charm. I've posted this twice before and it doesn't show up! I'm trying to mount my jack and spare tire on my 58 President and am having a hard time getting it to work properly. I do have the 15" tires which may make a difference in some way. Does anyone know or have a picture of how it all goes together, it certainly would be of great help. Thanks Jim R

Wow, I'm surprised. No one here knows how the jacks install with the spare tire. LOL I guess it's not as cut and dry as I thought.

Stupid me, I never thought of looking there. Unfortunately mine doesn't fit that way, the base is too big to fit through the wheel. Thanks Dwain!

My 1950 Studebaker base just tucks in the wheel well at the rear of the tire. Sounds like your 58 might do the same thing.
