  • One of the brethren took top honors

Since he's too modest to crow about it, I thought you all might be interested in knowing that one of the brethren took top honors at a car show in Oz last Sunday.

Brian Greenall, user name packardHawk58, took his just-completed Packard Hawk to the 21st National Studebaker Car Club of Australia meet in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales over the weekend and won the Top Car Trophy as well as the First Place Trophy in the Hawk Class. Good on ya, Brian, after all your hard work and attention to detail on that car you deserved to win.

    Cool beans, Brian; congratulations. BP
We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

Well done Brian! Nice to see the "after" of one of your cars instead of the "before" I am accustomed to.

It was also good to see Matt Larsons 1966 Daytona Sports Sedan making its first appearance at its first meet. Nice work!

I believe that Brian's car is the first Hawk of any kind to win an Australian Studebaker National Meet! Great effort.

Thanks for the praise guys It was a tedious restoration but it was worth it and I didn't know that it was the only Hawk to win a National, thanks for that info Dave!
Here are some overall pictures of the meet.
