  • Show me your '64 GT Hawks!

What I'd like to see is various available factory combinations of colors with the vinyl tops.
    Thanks!

I sold mine but here is what it looked like then and I think the new owner is planning on new paint job but don't think he will change the color.

My '64 Hawk was built the last day of production in South Bend and was probably about 7th from the end. It now is in northeastern Ohio.

          Candbstudebakers,

Very sharp looking GT!! Was that the maroon factory color or is that a repaint? It looks great. Those Magum wheels look better than the hubcaps as well.

The car was repainted back in 1998 but is the original color I believe.

ID:	1695885 I spotted this one in South Bend at the SNM in 2012, I believe it was advertised for sale and may have a different owner by now.

I have one with a rusty top, rest of the car is pretty good. Perfect fenders, body, good floors, seats. Been thinking about making a convertible out of it, and make it look like a 53 or 54. I did start it once, no knocks. 289 4 bbl. I could be persuaded to sell it, for $2700 but wont give it away.

I've always heard that vinyl tops can contribute to rusty rooves on old cars, and this confirms it. I had one Stude with a vinyl top but after this pic I won't again!

Closest factory offering would be Moonlight Silver.
