Body / Glass: Avanti door sills

I need some suggestions on door sills for my 77 Avanti II. I looking to find what will function, look good and terminate my carpeting. I see SI has some (and maybe Nostalgic) but I can't tell if they cover the edge of the carpet. Any thoughts?

The 64 and later Avantis use a narrow stainless strip to hold down the carpet, and then the threshold has the ribbed rubber tread. It was the same as some carpet stair runners sold @ Home Depot. I see they no longer carry it though.
