  • Grand Canyon Chapter SDC does a Parade

This is one of the best Studebaker and SDC promotions I have ever seen! Good job GCC !

The Parade is called the Fiesta Bowl Parade held Dec. 14, 2014.

Thanks to Larry Swanson who forwarded an email from Pete Yuen our own Pacific Northwest area (B.C. Canada) member with a link to a Truck Talk Post that has a the link to this video. Whew!

Maybe via the "Grapevine" but excellent none the less, Thanks Guys!

I think ABC Channel 15 did a great job of announcing. Arizona ROCKS!

Excellent! And such good looking Studebakers, too! Well done, and a media coup. All other car clubs are green with envy right now.

Man, that is nice! Congratulations to all. BP

What a terrific turn out with a showing very well done. Does it get any better than this?
              Congrats to all.

We are hoping to drive in this parade this year with two of our granddaughters.

It was a hoot. A bit cold heading down to the staging area but warmed up by parade time. I had the top down on the 64 Daytona convertible driving with windows up and heater on full blast on the way down. Hopefully we will get invited again next year.

Very well done. Maybe other chapters can line up something similar. I'm sure we have some parades in the greater Portland area that we could plug in to.

Wow!!! What a great job. Even the announcers caught on to the "We invented cool" theme. Hats off to the Grand Canyon Chapter. It was a terrific turnout of good looking Studes.
